Friday, September 5, it is three o'clock in the morning and the projection of the New Clara ends. I can not believe that this event ends, leaving Clara Sheller is not easy ...
I could summarize these six hours of viewing with a simple "Wow " but I think some are frustrated at not getting more details. Not wanting to spoil all those months of waiting, I will not expose much of the plot. Obviously you're probably wondering if this second season is up to our expectations, the answer is "yes, a thousand times yes." I would even say it surpasses the first.
Three years later, Clara, and JP Gilles are facing new challenges. Thirties now over, it's about maturity. In other words, finally leaving the world of childhood and turned to the future and accept that life is not always rosy. And, you guessed it, this is far from easy for them, especially Clara. For our heroine colorful, no question of accepting the routine of shopping at the supermarket (the JP fridge is full!) or to remain cloistered at home with Gilles (the launch party of the calendar of gods of the stadium is more entertaining). But then, by dint of not accepting what is inevitable, Clara finds himself enmeshed in tales that the outcomes will change forever.
Furthermore, we explore the advantage of personality Gilles. Whatever Clara called "stranger" reveals episodes over its past and its expectations. It is THE key figure this season. Others gravitate back to our trio and it is with great pleasure that we find the family of Clara JP's parents, Anthony and David or Jeanne Bertrand (boss Clara). Others, however complete the list. On the menu this season: the parents of Giles, a new colleague from work (Victory), new neighbors (Denis and Pascal) and many others ...
As the first season of the drama evolves gradually to its climax in the last two episodes. Again Nicolas Mercier way to perfection the art of pretending laughter to tears in an instant. Dialogues tasty, slender languages and farcical situations await you throughout the six episodes.
True figureheads of the series, the main actors: Zoe Felix, Francis and Patrick Mille Vincentelli. As you know, the choice of the new Clara Sheller was not done in a few days on the contrary ... Zoe Felix had to pass many tests and prove himself before landing the role of Clara. The question remained whether the actress would be able to be Clara Sheller along the six episodes. The answer is given in the first few minutes. Although the spectrum Doutey is still there, Zoe Felix becomes Clara Sheller very quickly. The actress, who has not watched the first season before filming, shows that it has to soak Clara reading the script but also understand it. His performance convinced me completely. Better still, it excels in all compartments. Clara you discover a more sensitive and more poignant than in the first season. Nicolas Mercier told me he saw in Zoe Felix, Clara Sheller as he had imagined. It is true that it adds a little more adult in character, which is not unpleasant. JP's side is also more than satisfactory, Patrick Mille we propose play with finesse. Always fair, it's a great interpretation given to us by the actor. It is undoubtedly the one who makes us laugh the most this season. Finally there remains only François Vincentelli , the new Gilles. At the risk of repeating myself, it's still a very good surprise. I already loved her in Hard work, but there is still a success. He played well with this character on edge, a prey to many doubts. The Belgian player to offer the most moving scenes of the second season.
Alongside this explosive trio, secondary characters, many this season, come cheer up the world of Clara Sheller. At the announcement of the cast full of famous names had come to join this adventure. I refer specifically to Charlotte de Turckheim, Bernard Le Coq, Anny Dupeyrey and Patrick Bouchitey. People wondered if these personalities from the world of TV and film would manage to be convincing in roles further back. Overall this is, again, great satisfaction. All bring their freshness, their personalities and their craziness to different characters. Special mention to Charlotte de Turckheim which is exceptional!! I lost count of the giggles that are quasi-systematic when it appears on the screen. Other special mentions: Patrick Bouchitey, Edouard Collin, Cecile Cassel (superb) and Bernard Le Coq. By cons I had trouble being convinced by the new Anthony (Thomas Jouannet) and interpreters of Joan and David (Valerie and Bruno are irreplaceable for my taste). Overall I think these characters were taken through their interpreters, a fairly large scale and that is our greatest pleasure (thanks to JP's mother!)
The first season was a postcard by itself. Maps of Paris from the side perfect glamorous series (this is one of the factors that explain the success of the series abroad). This year it's just more beautiful! Paris plans are legion and punctuate the adventures of Clara. You will recognize without difficulty some of the most famous places of the capital. More shooting in High Definition obviously contributes to the improvement of the image. All served by a musical band breathtaking (yes for French fiction is amazing!). The menu of French artists (or Benjamin Biolay Katerine) and Anglo-Saxon (The Stranglers, Brian Eno ...).
My analysis ends there. For me, Clara Sheller Season 2 differs from its big sister. The whole is much more controlled than the first season. This New Clara goes further, much more daring and so much more! Meanwhile, there is a feeling that everything is different while being aware that the adventure continues nonetheless. Such as encouraging us from the beginning to welcome with open arms this coming New Clara shake our good old television set. Being keen on TV series, I will not deny that for me, Clara Sheller Season 2 is simply the most pleasant surprise in recent years.
This Friday, September 5 at three o'clock in the morning I was proud to have contributed, through this blog , presentation of the second season that keeps all those promises and that, I hope you bring as much joy it has given me.
